Who's hosting

I'm John Mac. I build things for a living, and I'm self-educated.

I've run my own business since 2001 and spent most of it building custom websites for people who couldn't afford to get it wrong. No degree, no bootcamp — I learned by shipping badly and fixing it in public. It became a craft.

Everything changed when I stopped treating the machine as a tool I had to master and started treating it as something I could think out loud with. I build 10x more now than I did a year ago, and I write less code than I ever have. That's what this session is about.
