Hey,
I wanted to show you a real project I completed just a few days ago.
Remember in my last email when I told you how you can put together a few plugins in WordPress to build advanced websites that pay well? (Think $3,000 and up!)
I thought it would be cool to give you a concrete example of what’s possible—with just WordPress and a handful of plugins.
Here’s the case:
I got into a conversation with a local client who runs an e-bike store. He was using a limited, simplified e-commerce solution with barely any options to customize. After we talked, he agreed to let me build something more unique and flexible for his business.
So, I created a fresh new site over just a few days (half the time working from coffee shops). The result? A 100% custom, unique, and flexible platform, with the client having full ownership of the website.
Take a look at “re-el.one”—it’s a WooCommerce store. (The site is in Norwegian, but you’ll get the idea!)
Using custom fields in WordPress, I extended WooCommerce:
- The client can now add videos to products
- And highlight sold-out items with a “Sold” badge, wherever he wants
Price tag: $6,000.
Let me know what you think! And if you want to learn how you can do something similar—just hit reply and tell me.
Best,
John
