I almost got my cortado coffee for free today.
But I waved my Apple Pay screen on my phone, showing it to the lady behind the counter here at the café.
It’s crowded, with a busy crew and a bit of stressful energy (which seems to be the theme for many people these days).
I pressed “No tip” and scanned to pay. It’s overpriced in Norway anyway.
Let’s plug in my AirPods and get some music going so I can write today’s newsletter.
You’re getting a behind-the-scenes update:
First update
I just said no to a 12K website project.
WTF, you say?
Well, I had a bad feeling about the client and the project. But most of all, it would take away too much focus from what’s important right now:
- Coding and building more advanced stuff (playtime)
- My coaching business
If you truly want to break through with your goals, dreams, and change-making, you need focus. Don’t spread your energy into 5–10 different buckets, like I’ve tried. It doesn’t work.
Truth bomb: Some people do this to stay busy and avoid success (unconsciously).
Second update
I just launched a new website.
I help entrepreneurs who feel lost, and people seeking deeper meaning, to have breakthroughs. I just launched my new website for that business.
I built it pretty quickly using WP + Bricks Builder.
See what design I ended up with here. (Code not optimized yet.)
Fourth update
I just finished reading 3 books in 3 weeks. It really upgraded my understanding and skills on the topic of “positioning” your business—and building the right way.
- “Obviously Awesome” — If you offer services or sell anything, you should read it.
- “100M Offers” — A must-read if you want to create your own income.
- “100M Leads” — The follow-up must-read to the previous one.
The last two books are from Alex Hormozi. Read them. They’re well-written, easy, fun, and not like heavy business books.
Fifth update for you
In the next email, I’ll show you how to make $1,000 on a simple website setup. Maybe it’ll be your first thousand dollars online?
Got questions? Write me back.
